Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lipgloss Blissful Swatch

Hey, guys!  This week I 'll be doing a review of the new Maracuja Divine Shine Lipgloss from Tarte.  The packaging is adorable, if a bit large.  It's about the size of a marker, and you dispense the product by clicking a button on the end.  The gloss comes in ten shades; I picked Blissful, described as a "warm peach."  The formula is thick, and on the sticky side.  Since I prefer a slick gloss, I've taken to applying it over my usual balm.  It does feel hydrating, and provides a stimulating tingle.  The color is fairly sheer, but it definitely lends a nice tint.  Swatches after the jump!

The color is nice, it's shiny, it feels good on my lips, and the packaging is sweet.  If you don't mind sticky lipgloss, or layering over a balm, it's pretty fabulous.  What do you think?  Have you tried this yet?

  1. Personally, I really dislike sticky glosses. I don't even mind re-applying non-sticky gloss every hour or so, if only because I can't deal with tacky lips. I agree with you, though, the tint of this gloss is really lovely! :)

    1. It is so hard to find a good non-sticky gloss! I've got a couple that I really dislike on their own, but they work well over a slick balm. Thanks for the input. :)
